It's time [actually past time] for an easy way to recycle plastic CDs and DVDs since billions of discs are created every year and millions end up in landfills or
incinerators. The Compact Disc Recycling Center of America shreds and recycles the discs. Right now, you can mail discs to the Center at media rate via US Postal Service and the Center will send you a collection box if you want to centralize a location for collections.
