RE: Summer Cash TM Promotion
Currently, the Florida Lottery is running a series of eight weekly drawings for $250,000 or free gas for a year or a lifetime.
As a longer term benefit to Florida's citizens and in support of the
Governor's commitment to a greener Florida, I suggest it would be a better prize to offer a hybrid vehicle as the prize, with which a person could reduce his or her carbon footprint by reducing emissions into Florida's air.
I would consider purchasing a ticket or two if this were the prize and I would feel like I was being part of the solution rather than just burning more gasoline.
Thank you for your time in considering my suggestion. I look forward to hearing what commitments the Lottery is proposing in the future to reduce pollution and contribute toward a sustainable environment.
