"It's increasingly clear that we cannot wait any longer for our government to solve these problems. . .It's time to get active at the local level. We need to build lifeboats--and get ready to use them." Greg Pahl
I started reading book reviews when it started raining yesterday. Greg Pahl published a book last year, The Citizen Powered Energy Handbook, in which he states that we can't wait any longer--and may have waited too long--to make significant changes to reduce global warming.
Mr. Pahl, of the Vermont Biofuels Association stresses that individuals and communities must "fend for themselves." His book outlines a large number of local options, most are familiar and he includes a good appendix with organizations and online resources.

should do next--
