Whether it's to save the environment, or simply to save on energy bills, the City of South Daytona is considering putting solar panels on the roof of City Hall. Quoted in the East Volusia News, the Vice Mayor, Ron Clifton, called it a "pioneering solar power project" and that he could get it done for little or no cost. City staff were directed to look into the possibilities.
Driving up the hill on Apalachee Parkway, could we see a glint of the sun off solar panels installed on the Leon County Courthouse?
