I don't care if Benjamin Franklin was wrong. I love daylight savings. A report in the New York Times indicated that a professor and grad student from the University of California have researched energy savings and, while we save more electricity (or candle wax back in the 1700's) since we turn on lights later, we spend more on air conditioning and heating.
For myself, I don't join this factor, as the sole reason I love daylight savings is that I get to be outdoors during my favorite time of day just before dusk.
