Ag Net online reports that Florida's farmers will receive cost-share assistance to install solar pumps to get water to livestock. Solar pumps could replace many of the old fashioned windmill type pumps that we're used to seeing in rural Florida and Georgia, as these wind pumps require frequent, labor intensive maintenance.
