Solar Charger for Your Cell Phone

Now that it's the peak of hurricane season, I worry about losing electricity for a long period of time and not being able to charge my cell phone to use in emergencies. I know the last storm we had, I was without power for over a week and other parts of Tallahassee went without electricity for longer.

Popular Science Magazine gives detailed instructions on how to make a "juice pouch" (solar charger) turn a few hours of day light into power for a cell phone or IPod. I knew that old messenger bag was going to be good for something.
